For String Camps at Wellspring Renewal Center in Philo, CA

For those traveling by air to northern California to attend camp, we are located approximately 1-½ hours by car from the Sonoma County Airport (Alaska Air/Horizon Air) and approximately 4 hours by car from San Francisco and Oakland Airports. Currently we do not provide transportation to and from camp. Here is information about available transportation:

Sonoma County Airport Express provides bus service from the Oakland and San Francisco airports as far north as the Sonoma County Airport. See http://www.airportexpressinc.com for schedules to and from the San Francisco and Oakland Airports to Sonoma County Airport. That bus leaves once every hour to and from San Francisco, and once every two hours to and from Oakland, so if you ride the bus, you will need to coordinate your flight with those schedules.

There is no regular public transportation north of Sonoma County Airport to Wellspring Retreat Center in Philo. Rental cars are available at the Sonoma County Airport (see http://www.sonomacountyairport.org/travelers/transport.html). Once we know who has enrolled for camp, while we can't make any promises about providing rides from the airport, we'll do our best to connect you up with a camper driving from that direction.

When making airline reservations, please allow plenty of time to make the various connections between camp and the airport.

Please note: Location for Winter Workshop 2/25-27/2011 will be announced soon. Location will be in northern California; however, distances from airports and available transportation may differ from information above. Stay tuned for further information.
